RPMK1-1 and RPMK1-2 expression levels in R. solani infecting control and HD-RNAi transgenic lines. Wild type and transgenic lines expressing the HD-RNAi constructs were infected with R. solani. Total RNA extracted from infected plant tissue 96 hpi was used for cDNA synthesis as a template for quantitative real time PCR with pathogen gene-specific primers. R. solani beta tubulin levels were used for normalization purposes. For each gene, the relative mRNA level measured in R. solani infecting non-transgenic controls was given the arbitrary value of one and the remaining mRNA levels referred to it. Error bars indicate standard errors (p = 0.05; ANOVA; with Tukey Kramer Multiple Comparison).
