Lower blood glucose levels in 4-month-old Cox7rpKO mice versus WT mice during oral glucose tolerance test. (A) Blood glucose levels during oral glucose tolerance test (OGTT). Cox7rpKO and WT mice at 4-month-old were fasted for 16 h, then orally administered glucose (2 g/kg body weight). Blood samples were collected from the saphenous vein at indicated time points after glucose administration. Blood glucose levels were measured using a glucose analyzer. (B) Area under the curve (AUC) of blood glucose in OGTT. (C) Plasma insulin levels during OGTT. Plasma insulin levels were measured by using ELISA kits. (D) AUC of plasma insulin in OGTT.
