Formation of large complexes containing MinD and MinC. Mixtures containing combinations of EcMinDΔC10 (12 μM) and MBP-EcMinC (6 μM) or MBP-EcMinC-Aahelix3 (6 μM), where incubated at 25 °C for 15 min and then fractionated by centrifugation. Supernatants and pellets were analyzed by SDS–PAGE and Coomassie Blue staining. This figure is a cropped gel and the full-length gel is shown in Fig. S11.
