From: PDGF-BB enhances collagen gel contraction through a PI3K-PLCγ-PKC-cofilin pathway

Inhibition of PKC inhibits PDGF-enhanced contraction of collagen gels. BJ fibroblast cells were treated with the PKC inhibitor GÖ6976 (A), or the PKC activator PMA (B) and used in collagen gel contraction in presence and absence of 20 ng/mL PDGF-BB. In both panels, the graph to the left presents the course of contraction during 24 h, while the bar chart to the right side presents the contraction after 2 h for statistical analysis. In both panels shown data are averaged from three individual experiments. (**) refers to p < 0.01 and (***) refers to p < 0.001. Error bars are SEM.
