SA-2 promoted angiogenesis in ECs under an oxidative stress condition: (a) tube length and (b) representing images for angiogenesis analysis. Cells were seeded on Cultrex gel on tissue culture plates and stressed with H₂O₂. SA-2 at different concentrations, G0742 (1 µM), or VEGF (25 ng/mL) was added to each well. N/T samples were cells exposed to H₂O₂ only. After 8 hours, at least 10 images were randomly captured on a phase contrast microscope for each well (n = 4 wells/sample). Images were analyzed and quantified for length of microtubes formed using ImageJ with Angiogenesis Analyzer tools. Results were then processed on SigmaPlot for statistical analysis using ANOVA followed by post hoc comparisons. Data are shown as mean values ± SEM.
