Detection of apoptosis in the lungs of septic mice treated with iCRT3. Male C57BL/6 mice were subjected to sham-operation or CLP with vehicle (5% DMSO in normal saline) or 10 mg/kg body weight iCRT3 injected in the peritoneum at 5 h after CLP. The lung tissues were harvested at 20 h after CLP. Sections of lung tissues were stained with TUNEL and examined under fluorescent microscopy.
