Effect of delphinidin on the differentiation of T lymphocytes from non-MetS and MetS patients. Cells isolated from non-MetS (1–2 criteria) and MetS (3, 4 or 5 criteria) patients were stimulated for 24 h with 10−2 g/L of delphinidin (Del), 5 µg/mL of PHA or both. (A) The expression of T-bet, GATA3, RORγt and FOXP3 transcription factors in treated cells was measured by RT-qPCR. Results are normalized with the gene reference and expressed as relative expression compared to PHA group. Data are the mean ± SEM (n = 5–10). The production of IL-2, IFNγ, IL-4, IL-17 and IL-10 was measured in supernatants of treated cells using Magnetic Luminex Screening Assay.
