From: A functional IL1RL1 variant regulates corticosteroid-induced sST2 expression in ulcerative colitis
Corticosteroid treatment increases serum levels of ST2 in UC. Serum ST2 levels in UC patients grouped according to therapies (A) or according to disease score activity and corticosteroid (CORT) treatment (B) were determined by ELISA. 5-ASA (5-aminosalicylic acid), AZA (azathioprine), corticosteroids (hydrocortisone, prednisone and prednisolone), IFX (infliximab).
