From: Bioinspired Fabrication of one dimensional graphene fiber with collection of droplets application
Scheme of fabrication of a bioinspired fiber with roughness gradient. When the fiber is drawn out from the PDMS solution at a high rate, a thin solution film is formed on the fiber, and subsequently it breaks up into regularly-distributed primary spindle-knots. After immersed in graphene solution, graphene film is attached on the surface of PDMS spindle-knots.
