From: TNF-α mRNA is negatively regulated by microRNA-181a-5p in maturation of dendritic cells induced by high mobility group box-1 protein

TNF-α mRNA was regulated by miR-181a-5p in DCs. Mice splenic DCs were transfected with miR-181a-5p mimic, mimic negative control (mimic NC), miR-181a-5p inhibitor and inhibitor negative control (inhibitor NC). After 48 hours, these cells were collected and TNF-α mRNA was measured using RT-PCR and normalized to the expression of β-actin mRNA in each sample. Results of 3 independent experiments were shown as the mean ± SEM. **P < 0.01 vs. mimic NC group. ***P < 0.001 vs. inhibitor NC group.
