From: Rpgrip1 is required for rod outer segment development and ciliary protein trafficking in zebrafish
Immunostaining with Zpr1 antibody exhibited red/green double cones that were normal at early ages and degenerated at later ages. Nuclei were shown in blue using DAPI. Double cones of rpgrip1 −/− mutants were morphologically normal at 2wpf and 1 mpf, shown here. While at 3mpf, double cones were disorganized, the number of double cones was markedly reduced at 6 mpf and only some double cone cell bodies remained at 12 mpf.
