Study design. (A) Pre-training phase: on day 1, children listened to an action text and a neutral text, and, in each case, they answered a multiple-choice questionnaire tapping their appraisal of process-related and circumstantial information. (B) Training phase: from days 2 through 10, children completed a motor-training protocol based on action videogames. (C) Post-training phase: on day 11, children listened to another action text and another neutral text, and, in each case, they answered a multiple-choice questionnaire tapping their appraisal of process-related and circumstantial information.
