Blocking IRE1α/XBP1s/HIF1α pathway activation attenuated ANGII-dependent endothelial dysfunction under PM2.5 exposure. HUVECs were transfected with the indicated siRNAs and then subjected to PM2.5 exposure for 24 hr. The surface level of cell adhesive molecules and production of chemokines (A–F), adhesion of U937 cells to HUVECs (G,H) and generation of regulators for oxidative stress responses (I,J) were determined (**P < 0.01, *P < 0.05).
