Quantitative RT-PCR of three RdDM genes during sexual and apomictic reproduction in E. curvula. Analyses were done using mRNA samples obtained from ovaries containing ovules at sporogenesis (archesporial stages) and megagametogenesis (gametophytic stages), Histograms show fold changes of expression levels for selected genes relative to control genes and error bars indicate the standard deviation for sample replicates. Differences between mean values were evaluated using Student’s t-tests with paired samples (P < 0.05). *Samples that were not validated
