Stance period walking data of total mechanical power produced by structures distal to a reference segment: hallux (green), forefoot (red), hindfoot (blue), and shank (black). Estimates of distal to hallux and distal to forefoot powers were derived using force plate data from the Hallux Trial and the Forefoot Trial, respectively. Estimates of distal to hindfoot and distal to shank powers were derived using force plate data from the Entire Foot Trial.
