Biomarker performance in patients with NSCLC. Receiver-operating analysis of miR-126 detected in serum, exosomes and exosome-free serum. The areas under the receiver operating curves (AUC) were generated using miR-126 expression in serum, exosomes and exosome-free serum, discriminating healthy subjects (CTRL) from NSCLC patients at early (NSCLC-S-I/II) and advanced stages (NSCLC-S-III/IV). Differences with p < 0.05 were considered statistically significant.
