Western blot analysis of apoptotic and multidrug resistance proteins expression in wild type and drug-resistant triple negative breast cancer xenografts. (A) The protein expression of caspase 3, cyclin D1, bcl-2, MMP-2 and β-actin levels in wild type breast tumor xenografts of representative images were detected by western blot. (B) The intensity of indicated proteins was quantified by densitometric analysis and β-actin was used as a housekeeping protein. (C) Representative images of MDR 1, MRP 1, MMP-2, bcl-2 and β-actin in drug resistant TNBC tumor lysates of equal amounts, and (D). The intensity of indicated proteins expression in drug-resistant TNBC tumor lysates were quantified by densitometric analysis. Data are calculated from triplicate experiments and presented as mean, and error bars refer to SD. *Indicates a significant (**p < 0.01, ***p < 0.001) difference compared with control.
