DauA sites required for interaction with DctA. β-galactosidase activity was used to quantify interaction. BTH101 cells co-transformed with the respective plasmid pairs. The activity was determined after growth in LB supplemented with the appropriate antibiotics. The activity measured from strain co-transformed with the two empty plasmids was used as a negative control. Activities are presented as percentage relative to the negative control.
