(c) and (d) are the spatial distribution and polarization distribution, respectively, for the linearly polarized radiation, generated when the phase difference between the two modes is 0. In figures (a) and (c), the unit of the polar angle θ is milliradian, while the unit of the azimuthal angle ϕ is degree. In figures (b) and (d) the color-coded image represents the normalized energy-angular spectrum, while the contour lines represent the radiation ellipticity, with ellipticity equal to 1 corresponding to circular polarization and 0 corresponding to linear polarization.
