Ag-doped TiO2 NPs induced cytotoxicity and oxidative stress in human lung (A549) and breast (MCF-7) cancer cells. (A) MTT cell viability assay. Cells were treated with 100 µg/ml of pure and Ag-doped (5%) TiO2 NPs for 24 h. (B) LDH leakage assay. Exposure of NPs to cells was similar as in MTT assay. (C) Intracellular ROS level. Cells were treated with 100 µg/ml of pure and Ag-doped TiO2 NPs for 6 h. (D) GSH level. Exposure of NPs to cells was similar as in ROS assay.
