Kinetic killing of N. meningitidis with lipid treatment (sphingosine, unmodified C6-ceramide and ω-azido-C6-ceramide) at 1 time the MIC. Where no bacteria were recovered, +1 was added to the zero values before log transformation of the data. A geometric mean of n = 3 is shown for each data point. The error bars show mean ± SD of triplicate experiments.
