Figure 4

A comparison of XRPD patterns of samples roasted from 400 to 700 °C. (a) 2Ɵ; from 20 to 40° and (b) 2Ɵ; from 8.6 to 9.2°. The diffraction data compares well with ICDD refs.01–074 FeNb0.2Ta1.8 O6, 00-058-2034 KAl2(Si,Al)4O10(OH)2, 01-085-0865SiO2, 04-005-8669 Fe1.84Al0.16O3, 01-075-6816 Na2CO3, 00-033-0659 (Fe,Mn)(Nb,Ta)2O6, 04-017-1456 KFe2.6Al1.8Si2.6O10(OH)2, 04-012-8147 NaNbO3 and 04-012-8404 KAlSiO4. In Fig. 4b the changes in the diffraction intensity due to Fe3+ ion exchange between the original muscovite mineral (KAl2(Si,Al)4O10(OH)2) and the celadonite phase (K(Fe,Al)2(Si,Al)4O10(OH)2) are compared by examining the intensities of phases.
