Inhibition of autophagy induced the expression of FGF21 in PA-treated HK-2 cells. HK-2 cells were incubated with PA (0.5 mM) for 48 h, which was treated with PGE1 (0.1 ng/ml) in the presence or absence of the transfection of ATG7 siRNA or pretreatment of 3-MA (5 mM). HK-2 cells in normal medium without PA were regarded as control group.
