From: Inactivated rotavirus vaccine by parenteral administration induces mucosal immunity in mice

IRV vaccination induces elevated levels of rotavirus-specific neutralizing activity in mice. Peripheral blood was collected before the mice received the first (day 0), the second (day 21) and third (day 42) vaccination dose, and at the study endpoint (day 63). Levels of rotavirus-specific neutralizing activity in serum was determined by a microneutralization assay as described in the text. Data show mean and s.d. of n = 5. Mann-Whitney test was used for statistical analysis. MN: microneedle; IM: intramuscular; ns: not significant; **p ≤ 0.01.
