From: Low-dose x-ray tomography through a deep convolutional neural network
Quantitative comparison between reconstructions (R n and R e ) obtained from noisy and enhanced projections with the ground truth using Peak signal-to-noise ratio (PSNR) and Structural Similarity Index (SSIM). PSNR and SSIM are computed from the full 3D reconstructed datasets (512 slices). The higher value of PSNR and SSIM means better similarity of the compared images. The maximum value of SSIM is 1.
