From: High Density Lipoproteins Inhibit Oxidative Stress-Induced Prostate Cancer Cell Proliferation
HDL inhibit cell proliferation induced by H2O2 in LNCaP and PC-3 cell lines. LNCaP (Panel a) and PC-3 cells (Panel b) were incubated for 72 h with H2O2 5μM, HDL 0.5 mg/ml or with a combination of both. Cells were then harvested and counted in a Burker chamber. Data are expressed as mean ± SD, n = 4. *P < 0.05 vs control, #P < 0.05 vs H2O2-stimulated cells.
