The extended foraging arena was composed of six planar arenas (24 × 24 × 1.4 cm in thickness) filled with moistened sand and connected to each other by a 5 m long coiled Tygon tubing to form a linear distance of 25 m. In the figure, ‘RC’ signifies release chamber and ‘TC’ signifies treatment chamber.
