The upper panel shows the coronal view of an illustrative example of the manually delineated left and right hippocampal subfields, superimposed on a 7 T-TSE image. Overall, 12 hippocampi (6 left and 6 right) were manually delineated in order to provide atlases for subsequent automated delineations. Manual delineations were obtained based on coronal MR images acquired with the 7 T-TSE sequence at baseline T0.
