Table 4 Cytotoxicity screen of stably transfected HEK293 (NF-kB reporter). Cells were seeded at 4 × 104 cells/well in a 96-well plate overnight and then subsequently co-treated with 500 pg/mL TNFα and 10 μM for all NCE (1–22), OA-NO2, DMF or CDDO-Im (0.1 and 1 μM) for 2 hours. Cell viability was determined by the MTT assay. The data was normalized to the media alone treatment (no TNFα) and expressed as a percent. All data represents the mean ± SEM of at least three independent experiments (within each individual experiment, there was a minimum of four replicates per treatment).
