Effect of AAC and 2 ME on mid-chain HETE level and the expression of CYP1B1, LOXs and COX protein. Sham and AAC rats were treated with 2 ME (5 mg/kg/day) in the mini osmotic pump and then, (A) mid-chain HETE metabolites were measured using LC–ESI–MS. (B) CYP1B1, 5-LOX, 12-LOX, 15-LOX and COX-2 protein expression levels were determined by Western blot analysis.
