Values below 1.5 mg/ml, were not represented in order to better reveal focal areas of strong iodine deposition. Note the strongly inhomogeneous pattern and increasing amount of deposition with time in the control animal, and a similarly inhomogeneous pattern but less overall deposition in the MCH animal.
