Aggregation pathways of different Aβ seeds by ThT assays. Aggregation kinetics of distinct AD Aβ profiles (AP1-AP3 and sAD1 case) were analyzed by ThT assays. Soluble fractions from AD brain homogenates were diluted in 100 mM Tris-HCl pH 7.5, 5 μM ThT. ThT intensity was normalized to the corresponding maximal ThT fluorescence and fitted using Boltzmann equation (a). The kinetics were compared by considering the slope of the normalized curves described by ThT fluorescence emission (b).
