Vangl2Lp/+ mutation is associated with regionally smaller cortical bone mass in the tibia of young male mice. SSA µCT analysis of cortical bone structure at each 1% site along the bone’s length in 3-week-old male Vangl2+/+ and Vangl2Lp/+ littermates (n = 8 each). The tibia image indicates the orientation of SSA (proximal at 0% to distal at 100%). The tibia/fibula junction is indicated by the dashed vertical line (the fibula is automatically excluded from SSA).
