Proposed band structure of the Ag-FF-PNT junction where Φ is the workfunction, Ef is the Fermi level, Ec is the conduction band, and Ev is the valance band. The highest occupied molecular orbital (HOMO) of 4-ABT is located 7.18 eV below the vacuum level while the lowest unoccupied molecular orbital (LUMO) is located 4.0 eV below the vacuum level.
