ZFP226 overexpression activates KIBRA mRNA and protein expression. KIBRA expression levels increased significantly 48 hrs after ZFP226 transfection detected by (A) real-time PCR and (B) western blot. The activating effect of ZFP226 was compared to SP1 as positive control. The cropped blots are representative for experiments (n = 4), densitometry is based on independent experiments as indicated.
