HD is for healthy donors, HAC for HTLV-1 asymptomatic carriers, and HAM/TSP for patients with HAM/TSP. (B) Mode size of plasma EVs. EVs are smaller in the plasma of HTLV-1 infected individuals when compared to NI (p-value = 0,002, Kruskal-Wallis test, Dunn’s post-hoc test). (C) EV concentration of the different EV samples.
