RT-qPCR results from mosquito pool sample 4.1 and 1.1. on the Biomeme two3 hand-held thermocycler (green line) and the Bio-Rad CFX-96 benchtop thermocycler (pink line) in the laboratory. Sample 4.1 was positive for VEEV on both platforms; Biomeme Ct value = 33.92, CFX-96 Ct value = 30.63. Sample 1.1 was negative for VEEV on both platforms (CFX-96 data shown). NTC = No Template Control (nuclease-free H2O).
