From: A Comparison of the Antibacterial and Antifungal Activities of Thiosulfinate Analogues of Allicin
Drop test of S. cerevisiae cells on CSM medium containing test thiosulfinates at 5 µM. The wt BY4742 was compared with the Δyap1 and other mutants. Drops (10 µL) of serial dilutions up to 10−6 were plated out. In the control both wt and mutant cells behaved similarly and grew down to the 10−6 dilution. The effects of the various thiosulfinates are shown in the remaining panels.
