From: Neuronal activity regulates DROSHA via autophagy in spinal muscular atrophy

DROSHA is localized in endosomal-autophagy compartments in stimulated and SMA motor neurons. Subcellular localization of DROSHA was checked with vesicular markers. WT neurons were stimulated with 55 mM KCl or 100μM NMDA for 1 hour. SMA neurons were not stimulated. (A,C,E) Images show co-localization of DROSHA with vesicular markers.
