The proposed methodology. This figure shows the required steps for computing functions based on the proposed methodology. It starts with the approximation of the desired function as a polynomial using a series expansion method. The polynomial is then expressed in an equivalent form that only contains Mult and NMult units. The Mult and NMult units are mapped to their equivalent chemical reactions and finally the CRN is implemented by DNA strand-displacement reactions.
