Representative 2D-SDS-PAGE map of RBC protein spots identified by mass spectrometry. 100 µg of nRBCs protein extract were focused on pH 4–7 IPG strips (7 cm) and then separated by SDS-PAGE 12%. Gel was stained with colloidal Coomassie Blue G-250. The molecular masses (kDa) of the protein standards are indicated on the left. All the protein spots that matched to their corresponding spot in the western blotting were excised from the gel and processed for MALDI-ToF/ToF mass spectrometry analysis. These protein spots are listed in the Supplementary Tables 1 and 2.
