Scatterplots evaluating the correlation between the start of germination, bursting time and generation time of untreated B. subtilis and B. cereus spores. The Pearson’s correlation coefficient (r) was determined to estimate the strength of the relation. The p-value (p) for the correlation and the number (n) of comparisons are also shown. The start of germination was compared with the burst time, and the burst time with the generation time. The results showed that there was no correlation between the compared data sets. Observations of two biological repeats were grouped and analysed as one data set.
