  2. *The multivariate model 1 was adjusted: age, gender, previous myocardial infarction, valvular heart disease, hypertension, diabetes mellitus type 2, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease, chronic kidney disease, chronic heart failure.
  3. **The multivariate model 2 was adjusted: pre-operative statin therapy, LV volume index, type of surgery, bicaval cannulation, time of cardiopulmonary bypass, aortic cross-clamp time and prolonged inotropic drug use.
