From: Mitochondrial DNA m.3243A > G heteroplasmy affects multiple aging phenotypes and risk of mortality

Mitochondrial m.3243A > G associations with digit symbol substitution test score (linear regression p = 0.04), fasting insulin (linear regression p = 0.04), pulse wave velocity (PWV, linear regression p = 0.008), and grip strength (linear regression p = 0.018) compared across tertiles of m.3243A > G heteroplasmy. A total of 263 participants were included in each tertile of m.3243A > G heteroplasmy.
