  1. “Normalized length between entry position and the center” and “Normalized length of excavation” are shown as mean ± standard deviation. The parameters were normalized by the body length of the pufferfish. Raw data used for the analysis were shown in (Supplementary Fig. S2). “Deviation the direction of excavation (radian)” was obtained as the standard deviation of “Angle of the direction of the excavation to the center” in the figure.
