Genomic distribution of piRNAs associated and non-associated with repeat elements. Up-panel bar diagrams show the density distribution of read of piRNAs associated with repeat-element, whereas the down panel is displayed the piRNA non-associated with repeat elements (NRapiRNAs). piRNA density was calculated based on the number of the reads that mapped a feature according to Ensembl annotation divided by total bases present in these features.
