(A) Pre-symptomatic reduction in levels of full-length TrkB, a calpain substrate, was observed in synaptosomes of APP/PS1 mice from 1 month onward. (B) Reduced synaptosomal full-length TrkB levels in cortices of APP/PS1 mice persisted up to 10 months of age.
