GRM1 mediates CXCL1, IL-6 and IL-8 expression in TNBC cells. Knockdown of GRM1 in MDA-MB-231 cells induced a significant increase in CXCL1, IL6, and IL8 gene expression determined by QPCR (A) as well as the corresponding proteins CXCL1 and IL-8 determined by ELISA either alone or in the presence of TNFα (10 ng/ml) for 24 hours (B,C) GRM1 overexpression in MDA-MB-468 cells induce a significant decrease in CXCL1 and IL-8 proteins levels determined by ELISA, either alone or in the presence of TNFα (10 ng/ml) for 24 hours. All results are expressed as the mean ± SEM of n = 3 experiments performed in triplicate where *is P < 0.05 compared to their respective vehicle control cells.
