  1. Four weeks old C57BL/6J female mice were fed with the NC, LC, HC diets respectively, starting 2 months before mouse conception and continued throughout gestation and lactation. After weaning the pups were sacrificed in a fed state for the experiments. All values were shown as means ± SD. n = 6 in each group for male and n = 10 in each group for female.
