HHV-6 infection in HUVECs. Virus DNA presence and RNA transcription were evaluated in HUVECs infected with HHV-6A and HHV-6B respectively by qPCR and RT-qPCR, using an amount of 100 ng of DNA or of cDNA corresponding to 100 ng of RNA. Sensitivity was about 20 copies per μg of template DNA. Results are expressed as mean Log10 target molecules, measured in two independent experiments for each virus species.
